Webglobe licence · single user
Personal licence; commercial music productions are royalty-free. Resale, sharing or repackaging of the plug-in, cab sim or IR files is prohibited.
1. Ownership
The software and audio files are licensed, not sold. All rights, title and intellectual-property rights in the original Webglobe code, DSP, binaries, presets, cabinet IR files, product names, design and documentation remain the exclusive property of Webglobe Webdesign & Development, enterprise number BE 1023.233.303, except for separately identified third-party components.
Linking a product to a user account does not transfer copyright, source code, trade names or any other ownership right to the user.
2. Licence per product and user
For each individual product lawfully linked to your account, Webglobe grants the named account holder a personal, non-exclusive, worldwide, non-transferable and perpetual licence, subject to continued compliance with these terms.
You may install and use the product on devices owned or exclusively controlled by you and keep reasonable backup copies. Account sharing or use as a shared studio, business or classroom licence is not permitted without a separate written licence from Webglobe.
3. Permitted use and commercial productions
- use in your own music, sound design, live performances, podcasts, film, television, games, advertising and other audiovisual productions;
- commercial exploitation and distribution of finished music or rendered audio in which the product was used, royalty-free and without a credit requirement;
- editing and saving settings and personal presets through the plug-in, DAW or Webglobe Custom Lab;
- processing, combining and rendering cabinet IRs as part of a non-extractable finished audio or music production.
4. Prohibited use
- sharing, uploading, reselling, renting, sublicensing or offering the plug-in binary, cab sim, preset library, cabinet IR or a substantially derived file as a free download;
- embedding IR files in another plug-in, sample library, preset, model, dataset or product when the original or derived IR can be extracted from it;
- circumventing licence checks, account security or technical restrictions, or sharing accounts and download links;
- reverse engineering, decompilation or source extraction, except where mandatory law expressly permits it;
- using the products to build competing plug-ins, amp/cab models, IR collections or training datasets;
- using Webglobe marks, product names or designs as if you were the owner, creator, reseller or official partner.
5. Custom Lab and derived settings
A personal Custom Lab package contains only a personal VST3 preset, settings and documentation. The fixed plug-in is downloaded separately. You own your own creative music and rendered audio, but the underlying plug-in, DSP, preset structure and supplied files remain governed by this Webglobe licence. A customised version may therefore not be distributed as a standalone plug-in or preset pack.
6. Demo store, warranty and support
The store, prices and checkout are a fictional demonstration and no real payment is collected. When a download is made available through the demo, this licence still determines what you may do with that file; the demo creates no entitlement to availability, updates, support or a commercial service level.
Products are provided as-is. To the extent permitted by law, Webglobe does not warrant compatibility with every DAW, host, driver or future operating-system version. Mandatory statutory rights remain unaffected.
7. Third-party components
The VST3 products use the Steinberg VST3 SDK under the separately supplied MIT licence. Rights in such components remain with their respective owners. Those licences do not grant a right to redistribute the original Webglobe products or cabinet IRs.
8. Termination, law and contact
The licence terminates automatically upon material breach. You must then delete all copies; rights in finished productions lawfully rendered before termination remain intact. Belgian law applies, without prejudice to mandatory user rights.
