1. Provider and scope
Kook & Ko is the name of Demo 2 by Webglobe Webdesign & Development, enterprise number BE 1023.233.303, established in Landen (3400 Neerwinden), Belgium. Webglobe is the provider and data controller. Contact and privacy requests: info@webglobe.be.
Kook & Ko is a demonstration brand, not a separate seller. These terms apply only to Demo 2. A Webglobe project or another demo may have separate terms. A Demo 1 account does not grant Demo 2 access.
2. Demonstration and fictional products
The purpose is to demonstrate a store with a catalogue, search, favourites, a shopping bag, accounts and checkout. Images, descriptions, apparent availability, reference prices and discounts are demonstration content, not an offer to buy real goods.
No purchase contract for kitchen products is formed. A test order does not reserve stock, entitle you to shipping or constitute a tax invoice or proof of an actual payment. There is no subscription fee or automatic paid renewal.
3. Account, information and security
An account is required to test payments and view your order history. Use your own email address and accurate account information. Registration requires confirmation through the emailed link; sign-in requires an additional email check. Your phone number is optional.
Keep your password and security links private, do not share a session and sign out on shared devices. Report suspected misuse to info@webglobe.be. We never ask you to send a password or full verification code by ordinary email.
Account features require necessary session and device cookies and form protection. Security controls may require a new sign-in or temporarily limit excessive requests. Refusing optional cookies does not prevent you from reading these terms or the privacy notice.
The demo is intended for adults. Minors should use an account only with the guidance and permission of a parent or legal representative. This does not replace any separately required data-protection consent.
4. Shopping bag and Mollie test payment
Select products and quantities, review the fictional total and explicitly acknowledge the demonstration before opening Mollie. Prices are recalculated on the server. A mismatch can result in rejection or a request to review your selection again.
Only Mollie's test environment is used. The amounts actually due, received and refundable are each EUR 0.00. No real money is collected. Do not enter real card, bank or other sensitive payment details; use only Mollie's test options.
A browser message or return URL alone does not prove payment. An order is shown as successful only after server verification of the provider status. If confirmation is delayed, cancelled or uncertain, check My orders first. An open test payment can be resumed there.
For a technical problem, send us the order number without passwords, security links or card details. A fictional amount creates no refund claim, without prejudice to mandatory rights.
5. Stopping, withdrawal and statutory rights
You may stop testing at any time and request account closure at info@webglobe.be. You may cancel an open test payment. No real delivery or commercial product warranty is offered for the fictional kitchen goods.
The demo acknowledgement does not waive withdrawal, conformity or other mandatory consumer rights. Where such rights apply to a particular situation despite the demo nature, they remain fully effective. Any future real store requires separate sales information and terms before an order with an obligation to pay.
5a. Return deadlines and archiving in this demo
In this test environment, you can register a return within 14 days after the order is recorded as Delivered or Collected. A partial return covers only the selected items and quantities. Kook & Ko reviews each request separately.
After approval, the return must be recorded as shipped within 14 days of that approval. In this demo, this is the Return in transit status; creating or printing a label is not proof of shipment. A return already recorded as in transit stays open when that period ends and awaits receipt inspection.
An approved return that is not recorded as shipped within that period becomes Expired and moves to the return archive. This records no receipt, stock restoration or reimbursement. Rejected requests also appear in the return archive. A received return is closed and archived after management records the simulated manual settlement; no money is transferred.
A cancelled order moves automatically to the order archive 2 days after cancellation. A delivered or collected order is archived 14 days after that receipt, provided no return remains open. Open partial returns keep the order open. A closed partial return is already in the return archive; the order then follows its normal archive deadline. If all ordered units have been received as returns and their simulated manual settlement has been recorded, the whole order can be archived immediately.
Archiving moves an order or return to another overview and does not delete its data. Access, retention periods and reviewed erasure remain governed by the privacy notice. These deadlines describe only the demo flow; they do not limit mandatory consumer rights that apply to a real situation.
6. Responsible use
Use the demo with respect for other people and the service.
- Do not access another person's account or data or misuse an identity.
- No malware, phishing, spam or attempts to bypass security, rate limits or the demo access password.
- No unsolicited load tests or automated attacks. Agree any security testing with Webglobe beforehand.
- Report vulnerabilities privately and limit investigation to what is strictly necessary to demonstrate the issue.
7. Availability and access restrictions
Webglobe may maintain, improve or discontinue the demo. Uninterrupted availability or a commercial service level is not promised. Where reasonably possible, we inform existing users in advance of a planned substantial restriction.
We may proportionately restrict access in response to a concrete security risk, abuse or a breach of these terms. You may request an explanation and human review at info@webglobe.be. A security restriction does not prevent a privacy request.
8. Intellectual property
Viewing and normally testing the demo is permitted. Webglobe retains rights in its own design, code, logo and text; third-party rights remain with their holders. Names and images in the demo do not imply a commercial partnership or endorsement.
Republication, resale or reuse outside statutory exceptions requires the relevant right holder's permission. This does not restrict statutory usage rights.
9. Liability
We exercise care when providing and securing the demo. Do not keep your only copy of important information here or use it as a critical business service.
Liability is determined by applicable law. These terms do not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including intent, gross negligence or harm to physical integrity, and do not restrict GDPR protection or compensation rights. You do not give a general waiver of remedies or an unlimited indemnity.
10. Privacy and communications
The privacy notice describes required data, legal bases, recipients, retention and your rights. Necessary account and security emails are part of the requested service. Registration or a test order does not subscribe you to a newsletter.
Accepting these terms and receiving privacy information do not constitute consent to optional processing. All privacy rights remain available.
11. Version and changes
You can save this version as a text file. The accepted version, language and time are recorded with your Demo 2 account. A materially revised version is displayed and requires renewed acceptance before test checkout; changes do not silently apply retroactively.
If you do not wish to accept a change, you can stop using the service and request account closure or access to your data. Mandatory rights remain in effect even if an individual clause is invalid.
12. Questions, complaints and governing law
Send questions or complaints to info@webglobe.be and mention Kook & Ko / Demo 2. We first seek a solution together.
Belgian law applies without removing mandatory consumer protection under the law applicable to you. Courts and statutory complaint procedures are determined by law; these terms do not require you to bring a case exclusively where Webglobe is established.
